Who we are
At BellyDancerPhotos.com we strive to provide quality photos of belly dancers, both at events (haflas, workshops, festivals, etc.) and in posed settings. These are typically used for the dancer's websites, promotional material, and personal enjoyment.
We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, but our affiliates are located world-wide. The principal photographer, Duane Stevens, is a contributing photographer to the Gilded Serpent (online magazine) as well as Belly Dance - A Raqs Sharqi Magazine.

How do I purchase copies of these photos?
Reprints of YOUR performance can be made at a nominal charge. We do not sell images unless we have the explicit permission of the performer.
Are these ALL the photos from the event? Are there more?
Typically not all photographs are posted. Some may be out of focus or another technical issue. Or perhaps some were left off to conserve storage space on our web servers. Please inquire with us. We may also be able to locate other photographers who were present at the event. Also see: Can I arrange for a retake?
I don't like the photo posted; can you remove it from your website?
Absolutely! Let us know and we can have it removed. Consider having it cropped differently and re-posted so that you are still represented as having been at this event. See Retake.
Can I arrange for a retake?
Yes, of course! Event photos are difficult to re-stage, but if you want photographs of that beautiful costume and the event photos didn't come out right, contact us for arrangements. It may also be possible to modify the original photo digitally to obtain better results. See Contacts.
Do you take photographs of other dances or events?

We are located in San Jose, California, an hour drive south of San Francisco. We can arrange to take your belly dance photos at your venue, home, or outdoor location. We have arrangements for professional studio space in San Jose, Fremont, and San Francisco on an as-needed basis. We can arrange with our business partners in other major metropolitan areas as well; let us know your needs (large troupes are no problem!).
